5 Tips to prevent rashes during weather change

The human body undergoes many changes while entering a new season.This change leads to the growth of allergens; during this time, we can see several changes on the skin like redness, itchiness, burning sensation, blisters and a lot more. And you might have observed that this leads to winter rashes or heat rash in hot and humid summers.

  • Improve your eating habits

Eating healthy fresh food and including fruits in our diet strengthens our immune system and in addition to that, water is the medicine to all. Saying no to frozen foods and alcohol is a smart and healthy choice. Make sure you do not consume foods that are allergic to you like dairy products, certain veggies, eggs and nuts, as they will worsen the case.

  • Take care of your skin

First of all, make sunscreen your best friend in every season. It is suggested to keep your skin hydrated and moisturized during winters and using gel-based lotion or cream in summers will help. Add creams to your list that don’t contain harsh chemicals and include essential oils in your skincare routine which is rich in antioxidants which will nourish your skin. In case your skin gets exposed to rashes, aloe vera gel is there to rescue you. You can apply it directly on the area and it will provide you with some relief.

  • Slight changes in lifestyle

Be it summer or winter, we need to make sure our body is hydrated so drink plenty of water, as well as plenty of fluids in summer to keep your body cool and hydrated. Using humidifiers central heating system in winters and using air conditioners, fans, air coolers etc in summers can be of great help.It is advised to wear light and loose-fitting clothes in the summers made of cotton and try to avoid synthetic fabrics, as the cotton fabric absorbs sweat and helps the body to cool down. Also, cover yourself with overcoats and gloves while going out in winter to prevent winter rashes.
