All you Need to Know about Roshni Walia
Roshni Walia was born on 20 September in Allahbad (Now Pryagraj) in a Sikh Khatri family. Her father’s name is Vipul Walia and her mother’s name is Sweety Walia and she acted in a few television serials. She has an elder sister named Noor Walia. Her maternal grandfather’s name is Rajinder Singh who was an officer in the Indian Army. Roshni belongs to a well-settled financially stable family and now stays in Mumbai with her mother.

Roshni from her childhood days always wanted to join the entertainment industry and she started her journey as a model and did a few television commercials including Oreo, Nutella, Fiat Car, Knorr Soupy Noodles, Hippo, and Vcare Anti Lice Shampoo. Her acting career began with the Life OK television serial “Main“Tulsi Tere Aangan ki” as a child actress in 2011. In 2013 she did another show for Life OK ‘Ringa Ringa Roses’ where she played the daughter of Sameer Soni. She then featured in TV serials like Bharat Ke Veer Putra Maharana Pratap, Yeh Vaada Raha, and Tara From Satara. In the mythological serial Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev where she played the teenage Sita. In 2015, she has won the Lions Gold Award for Favorite Child Artist for her brilliant performance in the TV serial Maharana Pratap. She played the lead role of Survi in the ZEE TV show ‘Yeh Vaada Raha’. She is one of the highest paid actresses in the television industry.
Along with acting, there a quite a few things she likes including traveling, swimming, shopping, reading books, playing guitar, spending time with animals, and collecting perfumes. Her nickname is Rosh and her family lovingly calls her Rosh even today. As a student, she was not good at studies, and in an interview, Roshni Walia disclosed that she was not very good at studies when she was in school and even faked her mother’s signature on her report card as she scored very less marks in that test. Nevertheless, she is rich and famous now at a very young age. Along with TV shows she worked in quite a few Bollywood movies also including My Friend Ganesha 3 and 4, Macchli Kal ki Rani Hai, Firangi where her co-star was famous comedian Kapil Sharma. She also featured in a music video Kudi Badi Cutie with singer Yolo.
