It was the Bahubali movie series that made Pan-Indian movies quite famous and after the successes of KGFI-II and Pushpa. During the lockdown period most people get introduced to South Indian and hence become very famous. Here we have curated a list of upcoming five most awaited bilingual Movies.
- Salaar
Directed by Prasanth Neel and starring superstar Prabhas and Shruti Haasan, Salaar is a Telugu-Hindi Pan-Indian movie. The genre of the movie is crime-gangster movie. After the huge success of KGF 1 and 2, along with the presence of Prabhas made it one of the most awaited Pan-Indian movies this year. It’s probably releasing around the months of September-November.The character of Prabhas is not yet revealed but most probably he is playing a gangster in the movie. It’s one of the biggest budgeted movies ever made on a huge level. It’s speculated that it will be a part of the KGF universe but it’s not yet confirmed. Just like the KGF movies it’s going to be a high on action,emotion and drama movie for which people are waiting with bated breath.
- Pushpa 2- The Rule
Pushpa 1-The Rise starring Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and Rashmika Madana was a massive Pan-India success. Pushpa 1 also starred Malayalam superstar Fahidi Fasil in a cameo where he played a corrupt police officer and he is going to be the main antagonist in Pushpa 2 which increased the excitement of the movie goers even more. The first showed how Pushparaj (Allu Arjun) raised from a small-time smuggler to be the most dangerous gangster of that city and the second part will show how he will rule all the gangsters and clash with the police officer character Sherawat played by Fahidi Fasil. Also the songs of Pushpa 1-The Rise became chartbusters making the wait for Pushpa 2- The Rule more intense.
- Adipurush
Adipurush is directed by Om Raut whose last movie Tanhaji starring Ajay Devgan was a huge success. Adipurush is based on Indian Mythological Epic Ramayana written by sage Valmiki.Prabhas is playing the role of Lord Ram (Named Raghav in the movie), Kriti Sanon is playing Mata Sita ( Named Janaki in the movie), Sunny Singh is playing the role of Laxman and Saif Ali Khan is playing Ravana (Named Lankesh) in the movie. It’s made on the budget of 500 crores making it the second biggest budgeted movie of India after Shankar’s 2.O. When the first teaser of the movie dropped on the internet it was heavily criticized and trolled for its poor VFX and CGI,Hence the makers decided to postponed to the movie further was it was earlier going to be released on January but now it’s releasing on june after improving the VFX and CGI. With such an ensemble cast with a hit director like Om Raut and based on Ramayana made it one of the most awaited movie of the year,
- Hanu Man
Hanu Man is India’s first Pan-Indian superhero movie and it will create a superhero universe like the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and DCEU.The first teaser of the movie dropped a couple of months ago and it got lots of appreciation and the people said that made on such a small budget as compared to Adipurush, the teaser’s VFXand CGI were far better. Hanu Man is a Telugu-Hindi language superhero film written and directed by Prasanth Varma and produced by Primeshow Entertainment. It features Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer as main leads along with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raj Deepak Shetty, and Vinay Rai in important roles. The film is set in the fictional village named Anjanadri. It’s releasing on 12 May 2023.
- Jawan
Jawan is an upcoming bilingual movie shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. The movie stars Shahrukh Khan, Nayanthara,Priyamaani and Sanaya Malhotra. Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi is playing the main antagonist. Shahrukh Khan is supposedly playing a double role in the movie and Deepika Padukone is in a cameo as the wife of SRK’s character. Jawan is directed by Atleee who directs mostly Tamil movies. He made his debut with the movie Raja Rani with female superstar Nayanthara and then directed hit movies such as Mersel and Bigil with Tamil superstar Vijay. The movie is releasing on 2nd June 2023 and it’s definitely one of the most anticipated Pan-Indian movies.
