Every year Bollywppd produces around 100 movies but there are only a couple of movies audiences are waiting for with bated breath. Here are the names of the most awaited movies of this year.
1- TIGER 3
Tiger 3 is the most awaited movie of 2023 starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif along with Emraan Hashmi who is playing the main antagonist. Tiger 3 is a part of Yash Raj Film’s Spy Universe which consists of blockbuster movies like EK Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hain, War, and the recently released movie Pathaan starring Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The movie is produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Manish Sharma who earlier directed movies such as Band,Baja,Baaraat, Ladies vs Ricky Behl, and SRK starrer Fan. It’s speculated that Shahrukh Khan is doing a cameo in the movie as Pathaan. It will be a high-octane action movie that Indian audiences have never seen before. With a superstar like Salman Khan, it’s 100% sure that it’s going to be one of the biggest hits of this year. Tiger 3 is releasing this Diwali on November 23 which will create havoc in the industry.
- Animal
Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Madana, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, Animal is a gangster movie directed by Shankar Reddy Vanga of Kabir Singh fame and it is releasing around June-July this year. The teaser of the movie excited the audiences and when the first poster of Animal came with the gangster look of Ranbir Kapoor with a blood-fueled axe, it instantly became one of the most awaited of the year. Ranbir with long hair along with the bearded look augmented the curiosity of the audience. The director’s last movie Kabir Singh was a massive hit and it can be termed as a comeback of Shahid Kapur. Bobby Deol plays the main villain of the movie and after his performances in hits like the web series Ashram, Class of 83, and Love Hostel where he played a negative character which further excited the audiences more.
- Kisi Ka Bhai Jaan Kisi ki Jaan
An Eid release with Salman Khan never fails to deliver even if it’s a bad movie like Dabbang 3. Kisi Ki Jaan Kisi ka Bhai is a remake of the South Indian movie Vedam which starred Tamil Superstar Ajit Kumar. Pooja Hegde is the female lead Pooja Hegde who debuted in Bollywood in the Hrithik Roshan starrer Mohenjo-Daro. She also played one of the female leads in the hit movie Housefull 4 opposite Bobby. The movie is directed by Farhad Samji who earlier directed movies such as Entertainment, Housefull 4, and Bachchan Pandey. The music of the movie is scored by Himesh Reshamiya who earlier gave music for Tere Naam which was a super hit movie.
- Fighter
Fighter stars the first-time pairing of superstars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone and it’s produced and directed by Siddharth Anand who earlier made superhit movies like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Bang Bang, War, and the recently released blockbuster Pathaan. It’s India’s first aerial action movie inspired by the Top Gun series of Hollywood Superstar Tom Cruise. Fighter is releasing on 24 January, 2024. Fighter also features Anil Kapoor in a key character. The first schedule of the movie was completed in Tezpur air base camp, Assam. The next schedule is being shooted in Kashmir. The combination of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, and Siddharth Anand makes it one of the most awaited upcoming movies.
- Dunki
Do you know that Rajkumar Hirani’s two movies Munnabhai MBBS and 3 Idiots were first offered to Shahrukh Khan but because of date issues Shahrukh Khan could not do them but almost after 29 years of Hirani’s first movie Rajkumar Hirani and SRK are coming together for a movie titled, ‘Dunki’ this Christmas. The movie, just like other Hirani movies, is a comedy-drama movie with a social message. It has Tapsi Pannu opposite SRK as the main female lead and the story of the movie revolves around illegal immigrants which are called Donkey Flighting hence the title Dunki. Rajkumar Hirani is the only director of Bollywood who never gave a flop in his 20 years long career and the combo of SRK-Hirani will create a tsunami at the box office.
