| Synopsis: | Maidaan is a sports biographical drama set in the golden era of Indian football (1952–62). It is based on the life of the popular football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who managed the Indian football team for 13 years and laid the foundation of modern Indian football. The role of this football doyen is being played by Ajay Devgn in the movie. The supporting cast includes Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Rudranil Ghosh.
