It got a lot of criticism for glorifying invaders and even acting-wise wise except from Dino and veteran actress Shabana Azmi, none of the other actors were able to impress audiences and critics. Tigmanshu Dhulia and Vishal Furia co-directed the film, which was scripted by Shridhar Raghavan. Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Jackie Shroff, Anupriya Goenka, and Mita Vashisht play the main characters as the story follows them on an agonizing journey through the criminal court system. Criminal Justice was broadcast on H*tstar on April 5, 2019.
