Talking about the success of erotic web series, Director of ALT Balaji’s Gandi Baat Sachin Mohite explains that these series talk and show subjects that an average Indian finds difficult to discuss openly. He talks about a friend who was insecure about her body. “She feared her boyfriend would lose interest in sex because she was flat-chested but couldn’t discuss it with anyone.” He used this as a subplot in one of the episodes of the Gandi Baat series. In Mumbai, every day hundreds of people come from all over India to become actors but only a few of them gets success and for the rest, it’s difficult even to sustain in Mumbai as it’s not a cheap city to live. Because of this reason, many actresses accept to act in these erotic web series which pay them well to sustain in a city like Mumbai.
